Lead Free Dishes

As we were researching baby products for safety and toxicity, it occurred to us that we were eating on dinnerware that was made in China which may or may not contain lead. Although we loved our various sets, we decided that we should look for options made in the USA which were certified lead free.  Fiesta Dinnerware is made in West Virginia, has tons of bright color options and is made of china and lead-free glazes.  The other bonus is that they don’t chip!! Check out Fiesta Dinnerware on Amazon.com!

For additional options, the following dinnerware is also lead-free and not made in China according to a WHTR Indianapolis news article:

Denby claims “NO LEAD or cadmium is used during the manufacturing proccess of any Denby product.”

null tells consumers “all body, glaze and paint raw materials are lead and cadmium free.”

Consider checking with your local potters. I have been producing handmand porcelain dinnerware for over 40 years in NC as are many other potters. Then you are assured of the lead question, have unique and custom wares which can last for generations. We are often competitive in price. See local art councils for artists and craftsmen in your area. The internet is get for finding them and many of us ship free.
