Non-Toxic Play Tunnel – Updated 2015

The new Croco Kuno crawling tunnel by HABA is absolutely adorable! My son went through a play tunnel phase around age 2 and he is now a super tall almost 5 year old so I wasn’t sure if he would even maneuver through a tunnel so well anymore! From the moment the Croco tunnel sprung open, it was a hit in our household! The play tunnel is also free of any chemicals of concern so it passed my non-toxic test as well (fun + safe = a hit on 2 fronts).

He and his friends have played all week with it set up as a secret entryway into their fort. The Croco Kuno is not your regular play tunnel – every detail from the tongue, teeth and eyes to the scales and mesh open top on its back is unique. HABA is known for having very imaginative products and this new product definitely does not disappoint! My son loves that the mouth and teeth cover the tunnel entrance so it is more of a secret hideaway. There have been many discussions as to what the tunnel creature’s name might be and if he might also be a dragon…. I think the kids have settled on a dragon for the moment! I love HABA’s attention to detail on their products which really adds to all of the imaginative play that is so important.

HABA is committed to providing quality, non-toxic products and their play tunnels and tents are free of BPA, PVC, Phthalate and Flame Retardant materials which is not easy to find. Their play tents are whimsical and are definitely worth a look as well! Check out HABA’s new Croco Kuno Crawling Tunnel at habausa.com.
