Foogo Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy Cup –
The Foogo Vacuum Insulated Soft Spout Sippy Cup was the first sippy that I bought in preparation for the transition from a bottle to a sippy cup. It is stainless steel and the other components in the top are bpa free. It keeps drinks cold for up to 6 hours so I thought it would be great for milk after he turned 1. He found it difficult to suck from so after trying to introduce it for about 2 months with no luck, I opted for the Born Free cup outlined below. I do recommend the Foogo for when the kids are older (i.e. 12 months) and ready to drink milk but not as their first sippy cup. Keep in mind that this cup does not come with a top to cover the drinking spout so it’s more of an ‘at home’ option. Check out the Thermos Foogo Sippy Cup on Amazon.com!
Born Free Training Cup
The Born Free Training Cup is very lightweight and easy to drink from. It’s readily available at BabiesRUs which was convenient when I needed a replacement and is BPA, Phthalate and PVC free. It has a top to cover the drinking spout and we have taken this sippy everywhere without any leakage issues. I highly recommended the Born Free model as the training cup to start with.
